Her name is synonymous with FABULOUS COLOR and she is one of the first names to come to mind when anyone mentions "Plein Air Painting". NEW Oil Pastel Workshop -
A ONE DAY SESSION! Saturday March 15th.  9am to 4pm.
Oil Pastels are a relatively inexpensive way to introduce color to those students who want to learn to paint, and have basic drawing experience. Intense, vibrant color can be accomplished with the medium of oil pastel . . . and little is needed in the way of extra tools and other extenders. 2-DAY OIL PAINTING PLEIN AIR & STUDIO WORKSHOP - Sat & Sun - April 19th and 20th.
JANICE GAY MAKER will also be at Blackwater for an oil painting session in April. Along with these interesting workshops, we are working towards scheduling a much-needed class that will introduce painters to many of the art supply choices which bombard us from catalog pages and store shelves. We'll be discussing and sampling things like cobalt driers, alkyd gels, stand oil and maroger medium . . . and hopefully answering that age-old question  - So, what the heck do I do with this stuff? $%^@! THIS CLASS WILL MOST LIKELY BE SCHEDULED FOR LATE SUMMER.
